וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַגֹּאֵ֗ל לֹ֤א אוּכַל֙ לִגְאֹל־לִ֔י פֶּן־אַשְׁחִ֖ית אֶת־נַחֲלָתִ֑י גְּאַל־לְךָ֥ אַתָּ֛ה אֶת־גְּאֻלָּתִ֖י כִּ֥י לֹא־אוּכַ֖ל לִגְאֹֽל׃
And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.
Y respondió el pariente redentor: «No puedo redimir para mí, para no perjudicar mi herencia. Toma tú mi derecho de redención, pues yo no puedo redimir.»
