Τίς δὲ συγκατάθεσις ναῷ Θεοῦ μετὰ εἰδώλων; Ὑμεῖς γὰρ ναὸς Θεοῦ ἐστε ζῶντος, καθὼς εἶπεν ὁ Θεὸς ὅτι Ἐνοικήσω ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἐμπεριπατήσω· καὶ ἔσομαι αὐτῶν Θεός, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔσονταί μοι λαός.
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
¿Y qué acuerdo puede haber entre el templo de Dios y los ídolos? Porque nosotros somos el templo del Dios viviente. Como él mismo dijo: «Viviré con ellos y caminaré entre ellos; yo seré su Dios y ellos serán mi pueblo.»
