1 Chronicles 18:2

וַיַּ֥ךְ אֶת מוֹאָ֖ב וַיִּהְי֣וּ מוֹאָ֗ב עֲבָדִ֤ים לְדָוִיד֙ נֹשְׂאֵ֥י מִנְחָֽה׃

vayak ʾet mvoʾab vayihyv mvoʾab ʿabadiym ldaviyd noshʾey minḥah

And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

Modern English

And he defeated Moab, and the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute.
