1 Chronicles 28:5

וּמִכָּ֣ל בָּנַ֗י כִּ֤י רַבִּים֙ בָּנִ֣ים נָֽתַן לִ֔י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּבְחַ֗ר בִּ֤שְׁלֹמֹה֙ בְּנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֕בֶת עַל כִּסֵּ֥א מַלְכ֛וּת יְהוָ֖ה עַל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

vmikal banay kiy rabiym baniym natan liy yhvah vayibḥar bishlomoh bniy lashebet ʿal kiseʾ malkvt yhvah ʿal yishraʾel

King James Version (KJV)

And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

Modern English

And of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons) he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
