1 Chronicles 4:14

וּמְעוֹנֹתַ֖י הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת עָפְרָ֑ה וּשְׂרָיָ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת יוֹאָ֥ב אֲבִ֖י גֵּ֥יא חֲרָשִֽׁים כִּ֥י חֲרָשִׁ֖ים הָי֥וּ׃

vmʿvonotay hvoliyd ʾet ʿaprah vshrayah hvoliyd ʾet yvoʾab ʾabiy geyʾ ḥarashiym kiy ḥarashiym hayv

King James Version (KJV)

And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.

Modern English

And Meonothai fathered Ophrah; and Seraiah fathered Joab, the father of Ge-harashim, so-called because they were craftsmen.
