2 Chronicles 1:8

And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

And Solomon said to God: You have shown great and steadfast love to David my father, and have made me king in his place.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹה֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים אַתָּ֤ה עָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ עִם דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֔י חֶ֖סֶד גָּד֑וֹל וְהִמְלַכְתַּ֖נִי תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

vayoʾmer shlomoh leʾlohiym ʾatah ʿashiyta ʿim daviyd ʾabiy ḥesed gadvol vhimlaktaniy taḥtayv
