2 Chronicles 18:34

וַתַּ֣עֲלֶ֡ה הַ֠מִּלְחָמָ֡ה בַּיּ֡וֹם הַ֠הוּא וּמֶ֠לֶךְ יִ֠שְׂרָאֵ֡ל הָ֠יָ֡ה מַ֠עֲמִ֡יד בַּ֠מֶּרְכָּ֡בָה נֹ֠כַ֠ח אֲרָ֡ם עַ֠ד הָ֠עֶ֡רֶב וַ֠יָּמָ֡ת לְ֠עֵ֡ת בּ֠וֹא הַ֠שָּׁמֶֽשׁ׃
vataʿaleh hamilḥamah bayvom hahvʾ vmelek yishraʾel hayah maʿamiyd bamerkabah nokaḥ ʾaram ʿad haʿereb vayamat lʿet bvoʾ hashamesh
King James Version (KJV)

And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died.

Modern English

And the battle continued that day, and the king of Israel was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians until evening. Then at sunset he died.
