2 Chronicles 2:6

וּמִ֨י יַעֲצָר כֹּ֗חַ לִבְנֽוֹת ל֣וֹ בַ֔יִת כִּ֥י הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וּשְׁמֵ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם לֹ֣א יְכַלְכְּל֔וּהוּ וּמִ֥י אֲנִ֛י אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶבְנֶה לּ֖וֹ בַּ֥יִת כִּ֥י אִם לְהַקְטִ֖יר לְפָנָֽיו׃
vmiy yaʿaṣar koḥa libnvot lvo bayit kiy hashamayim vshmey hashamayim loʾ ykalklvhv vmiy ʾaniy ʾasher ʾebneh lvo bayit kiy ʾim lhaqṭiyr lpanayv
King James Version (KJV)

But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Modern English

But who is able to build him a house, since heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to make offerings before him?
