Daniel 2:15

עָנֵ֨ה וְאָמַ֜ר לְאַרְי֣וֹךְ שַׁלִּיטָ֣א דִי מַלְכָּ֗א עַל מָ֛ה דָּתָ֥א מְהַחְצְפָ֖ה מִן קֳדָ֣ם מַלְכָּ֑א אֱדַ֨יִן מִלְּתָ֧א הוֹדַ֛ע אַרְי֖וֹךְ לְדָנִיֵּֽאל׃

ʿaneh vʾamar lʾaryvok shaliyṭaʾ diy malkaʾ ʿal mah dataʾ mhaḥṣpah min qodam malkaʾ ʾedayin miltaʾ hvodaʿ ʾaryvok ldaniyeʾl

King James Version (KJV)

He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

Modern English

He declared to Arioch, the king's captain: Why is the decree of the king so urgent? Then Arioch made the matter known to Daniel.
