Daniel 2:24

כָּל קֳבֵ֣ל דְּנָ֗ה דָּנִיֵּ֨אל עַ֤ל עַל אַרְיוֹךְ֙ דִּֽי מַנִּ֣י מַלְכָּ֔א לְהוֹבָדָ֖ה לְחַכִּימֵ֣י בָבֶ֑ל אֲזַ֕ל וְכֵ֖ן אֲמַ֣ר לֵ֗הּ לְחַכִּימֵ֤י בָבֶל֙ אַל תְּהוֹבֵ֔ד הַעֵּ֣לְנִ֔י קֳדָ֣ם מַלְכָּ֑א וּפִשְׁרָ֖א לְמַלְכָּ֥א אֲחַוֵּֽה׃
kal qobel dnah daniyeʾl ʿal ʿal ʾaryvok diy maniy malkaʾ lhvobadah lḥakiymey babel ʾazal vken ʾamar leh lḥakiymey babel ʾal thvobed haʿelniy qodam malkaʾ vpishraʾ lmalkaʾ ʾaḥaveh

Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.

Modern English

Therefore Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon. He went and said thus to him: Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon; bring me in before the king, and I will show the king the interpretation.
