Ecclesiastes 4:12

וְאִם יִתְקְפ֤וֹ הָאֶחָד֙ הַשְּׁנַ֣יִם יַעַמְד֣וּ נֶגְד֔וֹ וְהַחוּט֙ הַמְשֻׁלָּ֔שׁ לֹ֥א בִמְהֵרָ֖ה יִנָּתֵֽק׃

vʾim yitqpvo haʾeḥad hashnayim yaʿamdv negdvo vhaḥvṭ hamshulash loʾ bimherah yinateq

King James Version (KJV)

And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Modern English

And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
