Esther 2:4

וְהַנַּעֲרָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּיטַב֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ תִּמְלֹ֖ךְ תַּ֣חַת וַשְׁתִּ֑י וַיִּיטַ֤ב הַדָּבָר֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיַּ֖עַשׂ כֵּֽן׃

vhanaʿarah ʾasher tiyṭab bʿeyney hamelek timlok taḥat vashtiy vayiyṭab hadabar bʿeyney hamelek vayaʿas ken

And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.

Modern English

And the young woman who pleases the king will be queen instead of Vashti. This pleased the king, and he did so.
