Nehemiah 2:10

וַיִּשְׁמַ֞ע סַנְבַלַּ֣ט הַחֹרֹנִ֗י וְטוֹבִיָּ֣ה הָעֶ֣בֶד הָעַמֹּנִ֡י וַיֵּ֣רַע לָהֶ֡ם רָעָ֡ה גְדֹלָ֡ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּ֣א אָדָ֡ם לְבַקֵּ֡שׁ טוֹבָ֡ה לִבְנֵ֡י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
vayishmaʿ sanbalaṭ haḥoroniy vṭvobiyah haʿebed haʿamoniy vayeraʿ lahem raʿah gdolah ʾasher baʾ ʾadam lbaqesh ṭvobah libney yishraʾel

When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.

Modern English

But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant heard this, it displeased them greatly that someone had come to seek the welfare of the people of Israel.
