Nehemiah 2:2

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לִ֜י הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ מַדּ֣וּעַ פָּנֶ֣יךָ רָ֡עִים וְאַתָּ֡ה אֵינְךָ֡ חוֹלֶ֡ה אֵ֣ין זֶ֡ה כִּ֡י אִ֡ם רֹ֡עַ לֵ֡ב וָאִירָ֥א מְאֹֽד׃
vayoʾmer liy hamelek madvʿa paneyka raʿiym vʾatah ʾeynka ḥvoleh ʾeyn zeh kiy ʾim roʿa leb vaʾiyraʾ mʾod

Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,

Modern English

And the king said to me: Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of the heart. Then I was very much afraid.
