Proverbs 13:4

מִתְאַוֶּ֣ה וָאַ֣יִן נַפְשׁ֣וֹ עָצֵ֑ל וְנֶ֥פֶשׁ חָ֝רֻצִ֗ים תְּדֻשָּֽׁן׃
mitʾaveh vaʾayin napshvo ʿaṣel vnepesh ḥaruṣiym tdushan
King James Version (KJV)

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

Modern English

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.
