Psalms 22:25

כִּ֤י לֹֽא בָזָ֨ה וְלֹ֪א שִׁקַּ֡ץ עֱנ֣וּת עָנִ֣י וְלֹא הִסְתִּ֣יר פָּנָ֣יו מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וּ֝בְשַׁוְּע֗וֹ אֵלָ֥יו שָׁמֵֽעַ׃
kiy loʾ bazah vloʾ shiqaṣ ʿenvt ʿaniy vloʾ histiyr panayv mimenv vbshavʿvo ʾelayv shameʿa
King James Version (KJV)

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hidden his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

Modern English

For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.
