Psalms 39:2

אָמַ֗רְתִּי אֶשְׁמְרָ֣ה דְרָכַ֣י מֵחֲטֹ֣א בִלְשׁוֹנִ֑י אֶשְׁמְרָ֥ה לְ֝פִ֗י מַחְסֹ֗ום בְּעֹ֗ד רָשָׁ֗ע לְנֶגְדִּֽי׃
ʾamartiy ʾeshmrah drakay meḥaṭoʾ bilshvoniy ʾeshmrah lpiy maḥsovm bʿod rashaʿ lnegdiy
King James Version (KJV)

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Modern English

I said: I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle, so long as the wicked are in my presence.
