Psalms 40:7

זֶבַ֣ח וּ֭מִנְחָה לֹ֣א חָפַ֑צְתָּ אָ֤זְנַ֨יִם ׀ כָּרִ֥יתָ לִּ֗י עוֹלָ֣ה וַחֲטָאָ֣ה לֹ֣א שָׁאָֽלְתָּ׃
zebaḥ vminḥah loʾ ḥapaṣta ʾaznayim kariyta liy ʿvolah vaḥaṭaʾah loʾ shaʾalta

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Modern English

In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.
