Ruth 2:7

וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אֲלַקֳטָה־נָּ֞א וְאָסַפְתִּ֤י בָֽעֳמָרִים֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י הַקּוֹצְרִ֔ים וַתָּב֣וֹא וַתַּעֲמ֗וֹד מֵאָ֣ז הַבֹּ֛קֶר וְעַד־עַ֖תָּה זֶ֣ה שִׁבְתָּ֑הּ הַבַּ֖יִת מְעָֽט׃
vatoʾmer ʾalaqoṭah-naʾ vʾasaptiy baʿomariym ʾaḥarey haqvoṣriym vatabvoʾ vataʿamvod meʾaz haboqer vʿad-ʿatah zeh shibtah habayit mʿaṭ
King James Version (KJV)

And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

Modern English

"She said, 'Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.' So she came, and has continued from morning until now. She rested a little in the house."
