1 Corinthians 11:5

Πᾶσα δὲ γυνὴ προσευχομένη ἢ προφητεύουσα ἀκατακαλύπτῳ τῇ κεφαλῇ, καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν ἑαυτῆς· ἓν γάρ ἐστιν καὶ τὸ αὐτὸ τῇ ἐξυρημένῃ.
Pasa de gynē proseychomenē ē prophēteyoysa akatakalyptō tē kephalē, kataischynei tēn kephalēn eaytēs· en gar estin kai to ayto tē exyrēmenē.
King James Version (KJV)

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

Modern English

But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head — it is the same as having her head shaved.
