1 Corinthians 13:3

καὶ ἐὰν ψωμίσω πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντά μου, καὶ ἐὰν παραδῶ τὸ σῶμά μου ἵνα καυθήσομαι, ἀγάπην δὲ μὴ ἔχω, οὐδὲν ὠφελοῦμαι.
kai ean psōmisō panta ta yparchonta moy, kai ean paradō to sōma moy ina kaythēsomai, agapēn de mē echō, oyden ōpheloymai.
King James Version (KJV)

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Modern English

If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
