1 Corinthians 6:12

Πάντα μοι ἔξεστιν, ἀλλ' οὐ πάντα συμφέρει· πάντα μοι ἔξεστιν, ἀλλ' οὐκ ἐγὼ ἐξουσιασθήσομαι ὑπό τινος.
Panta moi exestin, all' oy panta sympherei· panta moi exestin, all' oyk egō exoysiasthēsomai ypo tinos.

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Modern English

I have the right to do anything, you say — but not everything is beneficial. I have the right to do anything — but I will not be mastered by anything.
