1 John 1:5

καὶ αὕτη ἐστὶν ἡ ἀγγελία ἣν ἀκηκόαμεν ἀπ' αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀναγγέλλομεν ὑμῖν, ὅτι ὁ Θεὸς φῶς ἐστι, καὶ σκοτία ἐν αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν οὐδεμία.

kai aytē estin ē aggelia ēn akēkoamen ap' aytoy kai anaggellomen ymin, oti o Theos phōs esti, kai skotia en aytō oyk estin oydemia.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
