1 John 2:27

Kai ymeis, to chrisma o elabete ap' aytoy en ymin menei, kai oy chreian echete ina tis didaskē ymas· all' ōs to ayto chrisma didaskei ymas peri pantōn, kai alēthes estin, kai oyk estin pseydos, kai kathōs edidaxen ymas, meneite en aytō.
King James Version (KJV)

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Modern English

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit — just as it has taught you, remain in him.
