1 John 3:22

καὶ ὃ ἐὰν αἰτῶμεν, λαμβάνομεν παρ' αὐτοῦ, ὅτι τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ τηροῦμεν, καὶ τὰ ἀρεστὰ ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ποιοῦμεν.

kai o ean aitōmen, lambanomen par' aytoy, oti tas entolas aytoy tēroymen, kai ta aresta enōpion aytoy poioymen.

King James Version (KJV)

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
