1 John 4:16

καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐγνώκαμεν καὶ πεπιστεύκαμεν τὴν ἀγάπην ἣν ἔχει ὁ Θεὸς ἐν ἡμῖν. ὁ Θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστί, καὶ ὁ μένων ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ ἐν τῷ Θεῷ μένει, καὶ ὁ Θεὸς ἐν αὐτῷ.

kai ēmeis egnōkamen kai pepisteykamen tēn agapēn ēn echei o Theos en ēmin. o Theos agapē esti, kai o menōn en tē agapē en tō Theō menei, kai o Theos en aytō.

King James Version (KJV)

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Modern English

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
