1 John 4:20

Ἐάν τις εἴπῃ ὅτι Ἀγαπῶ τὸν Θεόν, καὶ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ μισῇ, ψεύστης ἐστίν· ὁ γὰρ μὴ ἀγαπῶν τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ ὃν ἑώρακεν, τὸν Θεὸν ὃν οὐχ ἑώρακεν πῶς δύναται ἀγαπᾷν;
Ean tis eipē oti Agapō ton Theon, kai ton adelphon aytoy misē, pseystēs estin· o gar mē agapōn ton adelphon aytoy on eōraken, ton Theon on oych eōraken pōs dynatai agapan;
King James Version (KJV)

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Modern English

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
