1 John 4:8

ὁ μὴ ἀγαπῶν οὐκ ἔγνω τὸν Θεόν· ὅτι ὁ Θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστίν.

o mē agapōn oyk egnō ton Theon· oti o Theos agapē estin.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
