1 John 5:1

Πᾶς ὁ πιστεύων ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἐστὶν ὁ Χριστός, ἐκ τοῦ Θεοῦ γεγέννηται· καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀγαπῶν τὸν γεννήσαντα ἀγαπᾷ καὶ τὸν γεγεννημένον ἐξ αὐτοῦ.

Pas o pisteyōn oti Iēsoys estin o Christos, ek toy Theoy gegennētai· kai pas o agapōn ton gennēsanta agapa kai ton gegennēmenon ex aytoy.

King James Version (KJV)

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Modern English

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
