1 Thessalonians 4:14

Εἰ γὰρ πιστεύομεν ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἀνέστη, οὕτως καὶ ὁ Θεὸς τοὺς κοιμηθέντας διὰ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἄξει σὺν αὐτῷ.

Ei gar pisteyomen oti Iēsoys apethanen kai anestē, oytōs kai o Theos toys koimēthentas dia toy Iēsoy axei syn aytō.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Modern English

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
