1 Timothy 5:4

Ei de tis chēra tekna ē ekgona echei, manthanetōsan prōton ton idion oikon eysebein, kai amoibas apodidonai tois progonois· toyto gar estin apodekton enōpion toy Theoy.
King James Version (KJV)

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

Modern English

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.
