2 Corinthians 1:17

Τοῦτο οὖν βουλευόμενος, μήτι ἄρα τῇ ἐλαφρίᾳ ἐχρησάμην; Ἢ ἃ βουλεύομαι, κατὰ σάρκα βουλεύομαι, ἵνα ᾖ παρ' ἐμοὶ τὸ Ναί, ναὶ καὶ τὸ Οὔ, οὔ;
Toyto oyn boyleyomenos, mēti ara tē elaphria echrēsamēn; Ē a boyleyomai, kata sarka boyleyomai, ina ē par' emoi to Nai, nai kai to Oy, oy;
King James Version (KJV)

When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

Modern English

Was I fickle when I intended to do this? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say both Yes, yes and No, no?
