Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Ἀλλ' ὥσπερ ἡ ἐκκλησία ὑποτάσσεται τῷ Χριστῷ, οὕτως καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν ἐν παντί.
All' ōsper ē ekklēsia ypotassetai tō Christō, oytōs kai ai gynaikes tois idiois andrasin en panti.
