Galatians 4:23

Ἀλλ' ὁ μὲν ἐκ τῆς παιδίσκης κατὰ σάρκα γεγέννηται, ὁ δὲ ἐκ τῆς ἐλευθέρας διὰ τῆς ἐπαγγελίας.

All' o men ek tēs paidiskēs kata sarka gegennētai, o de ek tēs eleytheras dia tēs epaggelias.

King James Version (KJV)

But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Modern English

His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise.
