Galatians · Πρὸς Γαλάτας

Galatians 4:27

gegraptai gar, Eyphranthēti, steira, ē oy tiktoysa· rēxon kai boēson, ē oyk ōdinoysa· oti polla ta tekna tēs erēmoy mallon ē tēs echoysēs ton andra.
King James Version (KJV)

For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Modern English

For it is written: Be glad, barren woman, you who never bore a child; shout for joy and cry aloud, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.
