John 21:12

λεγει αυτοις ο ιησους δευτε αριστησατε ουδεις δε ετολμα των μαθητων εξετασαι αυτον συ τις ει ειδοτες οτι ο κυριος εστιν

Jesus saith unto them, Come {and} dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Modern English

Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” None of the disciples dared inquire of him, “Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord.
