Luke 16:15

και ειπεν αυτοις υμεις εστε οι δικαιουντες εαυτους ενωπιον των ανθρωπων ο δε θεος γινωσκει τας καρδιας υμων οτι το εν ανθρωποις υψηλον βδελυγμα ενωπιον του θεου εστιν
kai eipen aytois ymeis este oi dikaioyntes eaytoys enōpion tōn anthrōpōn o de theos ginōskei tas kardias ymōn oti to en anthrōpois ypsēlon bdelygma enōpion toy theoy estin

And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Modern English

He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
