Luke 8:24

προσελθοντες δε διηγειραν αυτον λεγοντες επιστατα επιστατα απολλυμεθα ο δε εγερθεις επετιμησεν τω ανεμω και τω κλυδωνι του υδατος και επαυσαντο και εγενετο γαληνη

proselthontes de diēgeiran ayton legontes epistata epistata apollymetha o de egertheis epetimēsen tō anemō kai tō klydōni toy ydatos kai epaysanto kai egeneto galēnē

King James Version (KJV)

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Modern English

They came to him, and awoke him, saying, “Master, master, we are dying!” He awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm.
