Mark 4:21

και ελεγεν αυτοις μητι ο λυχνος ερχεται ινα υπο τον μοδιον τεθη η υπο την κλινην ουχ ινα επι την λυχνιαν επιτεθη
kai elegen aytois mēti o lychnos erchetai ina ypo ton modion tethē ē ypo tēn klinēn oych ina epi tēn lychnian epitethē

And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? {bushel: the word in the original signifieth a less measure}

Modern English

He said to them, “Is the lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand?
