Mark 9:18

και οπου αν αυτον καταλαβη ρησσει αυτον και αφριζει και τριζει τους οδοντας αυτου και ξηραινεται και ειπον τοις μαθηταις σου ινα αυτο εκβαλωσιν και ουκ ισχυσαν
kai opoy an ayton katalabē rēssei ayton kai aphrizei kai trizei toys odontas aytoy kai xērainetai kai eipon tois mathētais soy ina ayto ekbalōsin kai oyk ischysan

And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. {teareth...: or, dasheth him}

Modern English

and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.”
