Mark 9:42

και ος αν σκανδαλιση ενα των μικρων τουτων των πιστευοντων εις εμε καλον εστιν αυτω μαλλον ει περικειται λιθος μυλικος περι τον τραχηλον αυτου και βεβληται εις την θαλασσαν
kai os an skandalisē ena tōn mikrōn toytōn tōn pisteyontōn eis eme kalon estin aytō mallon ei perikeitai lithos mylikos peri ton trachēlon aytoy kai beblētai eis tēn thalassan
King James Version (KJV)

And whosoever shall offend one of {these} little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Modern English

Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.
