Matthew 20:31

ο δε οχλος επετιμησεν αυτοις ινα σιωπησωσιν οι δε μειζον εκραζον λεγοντες ελεησον ημας κυριε υιος δαβιδ
o de ochlos epetimēsen aytois ina siōpēsōsin oi de meizon ekrazon legontes eleēson ēmas kyrie yios dabid

And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, {thou} Son of David.

Modern English

The multitude rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”
