Revelation 6:8

Καὶ ἰδού, ἵππος χλωρός, καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ, ὄνομα αὐτῷ ὁ Θάνατος, καὶ ὁ ᾍδης ἠκολούθει αὐτῷ. Καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ ἐξουσία ἐπὶ τὸ τέταρτον τῆς γῆς ἀποκτεῖναι ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ καὶ ἐν λιμῷ καὶ ἐν θανάτῳ, καὶ ὑπὸ τῶν θηρίων τῆς γῆς.
Kai idoy, ippos chlōros, kai o kathēmenos epanō aytoy, onoma aytō o Thanatos, kai o Adēs ēkoloythei aytō. Kai edothē aytō exoysia epi to tetarton tēs gēs apokteinai en romphaia kai en limō kai en thanatō, kai ypo tōn thēriōn tēs gēs.
King James Version (KJV)

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Modern English

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
