Revelation 8:11

Καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ ἀστέρος λέγεται ὁ Ἄψινθος· καὶ ἐγένετο τὸ τρίτον τῶν ὑδάτων εἰς ἄψινθον, καὶ πολλοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἀπέθανον ἐκ τῶν ὑδάτων, ὅτι ἐπικράνθησαν.
Kai to onoma toy asteros legetai o Apsinthos· kai egeneto to triton tōn ydatōn eis apsinthon, kai polloi tōn anthrōpōn apethanon ek tōn ydatōn, oti epikranthēsan.

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Modern English

the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
