Romans 11:8

καθὼς γέγραπται, Ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Θεὸς Πνεῦμα κατανύξεως, ὀφθαλμοὺς τοῦ μὴ βλέπειν, καὶ ὦτα τοῦ μὴ ἀκούειν, ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας.
kathōs gegraptai, Edōken aytois o Theos Pneyma katanyxeōs, ophthalmoys toy mē blepein, kai ōta toy mē akoyein, eōs tēs sēmeron ēmeras.
King James Version (KJV)

(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Modern English

as it is written: God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.
