Romans 12:19

Mē eaytoys ekdikoyntes, agapētoi, alla dote topon tē orgē· gegraptai gar, Emoi ekdikēsis, egō antapodōsō, legei Kyrios.
King James Version (KJV)

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Modern English

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: It is mine to avenge; I will repay, says the Lord.
