Romans 13:12

Ἡ νὺξ προέκοψεν, ἡ δὲ ἡμέρα ἤγγικεν· ἀποθώμεθα οὖν τὰ ἔργα τοῦ σκότους, καὶ ἐνδυσώμεθα τὰ ὅπλα τοῦ φωτός.
Ē nyx proekopsen, ē de ēmera ēggiken· apothōmetha oyn ta erga toy skotoys, kai endysōmetha ta opla toy phōtos.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Modern English

The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
