For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
Ἐάν τε γὰρ ζῶμεν, τῷ Κυρίῳ ζῶμεν· ἐάν τε ἀποθνῄσκωμεν, τῷ Κυρίῳ ἀποθνῄσκομεν· ἐάν τε οὖν ζῶμεν, ἐάν τε ἀποθνῄσκωμεν, τοῦ Κυρίου ἐσμέν.
Ean te gar zōmen, tō Kyriō zōmen· ean te apothnēskōmen, tō Kyriō apothnēskomen· ean te oyn zōmen, ean te apothnēskōmen, toy Kyrioy esmen.
