Romans 6:9

εἰδότες ὅτι Χριστὸς ἐγερθεὶς ἐκ νεκρῶν οὐκέτι ἀποθνῄσκει· θάνατος αὐτοῦ οὐκέτι κυριεύει.
eidotes oti Christos egertheis ek nekrōn oyketi apothnēskei· thanatos aytoy oyketi kyrieyei.
King James Version (KJV)

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Modern English

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
