2 Maccabees

2 Maccabees 7:6

King James Version (KJV)

The Lord God looketh upon us, and in truth hath comfort in us, as Moses in his song, which witnessed to their faces, declared, saying, And he shall be comforted in his servants.

Modern English

The Lord God is watching, and he truly finds comfort in us, just as Moses declared in his song when he testified openly, saying, He will have compassion on his servants.
